The national tobacco production of the year 2024 is estimated to reach 243.903,11 tons with the plant area around 228 thousand hectares. It is almost the same as total production in year 2023, with total 238.800 tons.

FCV Lombok:
The production of Lombok tobacco in year 2024 reaches 61.568,11 tons with the total planted area 34.512,27 ha, covering Central Lombok and East Lombok. It is not much different compared than year 2023 with total production 61.400 tons.
The tobacco planting area for FCV Lombok (Virginia) is 23.731.70 ha with assumption that the average productivity is 1.926,38/ha, so the total FCV production is 45.716,68 ton.
While the tobacco planting area for tobacco Rajangan is 10.780,57 ha with assumption that the average productivity is 1.470,37/ha, so the total Rajangan production is 15.851,43 ton.
FCV Bojonegoro:
The planted area of tobacco in Bojonegoro in 2024 reaches 15.959 hectares. The planted area increases 4.061 ha compare than previous year. And the estimation production for year 2024 reach 19.257 tons consist of Virginia tobacco 16.331 tons and RAM 2.926 tons.
Jatim, Madura, Kasturi:
The production of Jatim tobacco in year 2024 is estimated about 106,539 tons. It is decreased around 3 % from the previous year with total 109,800 tons.
These number include the production from Jatim VO, Kasturi, Rajangan, Paiton, and Madura, Krosok, and Ploso.
East Java is still the largest tobacco producer in Indonesia. There are 5 largest tobacco producing regions in East Java, namely Jember, Probolinggo, Pamekasan (Madura), Bojonegoro and Tuban.
Boyolali, Klaten & Other Central Java origin Tobacco:
Tobacco crop in Central Java in year 2024 estimated reach 50,439 tons. It is not much different compared with the production in year 2023 which reach 52,700 tons.
These include DFC, Rajangan Temanggung, Janturan, etc.
Besuki Cigar Leaf:
The estimation production of Besuki Nota & Na Oogst year 2024 is about 6,100 tons, it is increased around 10 %with the production of year 2023 with the total 5,600 ton.
